Rocky View County is inviting residents to weigh in on the future of recreation in the Springbank area as it launches a new round of public engagement.
An open house will be held on June 19, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Springbank Heritage Centre. The event is part of ongoing efforts to explore potential recreation projects for county-owned land in the area.
The county is working in partnership with the Springbank Park For All Seasons and the Springbank Community Association to assess how new facilities and amenities could be developed to meet local needs, provide long-term value, and maximize the use of land and funding. Residents will be asked for input on facility types, location options, timing, and potential phasing of developments.
Feedback collected through the open house and a companion online survey—available at engage.rockyview.ca starting June 19—will be compiled and presented to County Council in July to help inform planning and funding decisions.
Residents are encouraged to attend the open house or participate online to help shape the future of recreation in Springbank.
