Kyle RCMP responded to a range of calls across the region between June 12 and 19, including a family dispute, a missing person report and a vehicle collision with a deer.
On June 14, officers were dispatched to a family dispute in Elrose around 11:49 a.m. Later that evening, at 11:10 p.m., Kyle and Rosetown RCMP assisted a park ranger at Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park in relation to an uttering threats complaint.
In the early hours of June 15, RCMP responded to a request to assist the public just after 1 a.m., and later that morning around 4:19 a.m., they were called for a missing person complaint. The individual was located safely, and no further action was required. A well-being check was also conducted in Elrose later that morning.
On June 16, a complaint of erratic driving near Kyle was investigated around 4:30 p.m., though police were unable to locate the vehicle. That same evening, members responded to a gas-and-dash incident at a Rosetown business.
At 10:31 p.m. on June 17, Kyle RCMP attended to a motor vehicle collision involving a deer on Highway 342. No injuries were reported.
RCMP also responded to a suspicious person report near Lucky Lake on June 18. The matter was investigated and no further action was necessary.
No calls were recorded on June 19. Over the weeklong reporting period, a total of 102 traffic-related charges were laid. Police also reported four false alarms and no accidental 911 calls.
