Swift Current Rural RCMP arrest wanted man

A local man wanted on a litany of charges was recently apprehended by Swift Current Rural RCMP.

Eastend's Shane Congrad Scott was located and arrested by police on Tuesday after appearing on Saskatchewan RCMP's Wanted Persons list earlier this month.

The 55-year-old faces more than half a dozen charges, including;

Four counts of forcible confinement,
Two counts of assault causing bodily harm,
One count of intimidation of a Justice System worker, and
One count of failure to attend court.

Scott is scheduled to appear in court on July 10 in Maple Creek.
