Your guide to Lacombe Days

With Lacombe Days coming up from July 11 to 13, it can be difficult to determine which events to attend. Here are just a few of the awesome events that will be happening that weekend. 

Friday, July 11

🔍 Lacombe Scavenger Hunt – 11 a.m. Friday to 5 p.m. Sunday
Explore the city and answer questions in the scavenger hunt package. Completed sheets can be returned to the Mary C. Moore Public Library by Sunday closing to be entered to win one of three grand prizes.

• Scavenger hunt packages are available at the library

• All ages welcome

🥞 AFSC Pancake Breakfast – 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Enjoy a pancake breakfast while supporting the Lacombe Food Bank.

• Cash or non-perishable food donations requested

🌭 Sunny 94 BBQ – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Join Sunny 94 for a lunch BBQ and games. Meet members of the team and enjoy a visit from Sunny.

• Outside Sunny 94

• Donations support the Lacombe Kinsmen Club

🌍 Multicultural Night Market – 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Hosted by the Lacombe Filipino Community Association. Celebrate cultural diversity with food, live music and local vendors.

Saturday, July 12

🎺 Lacombe Days Parade – Starts at 9:30 a.m.
Enjoy displays and experience the community at one of the weekend’s biggest events.

• Parade route available on the Lacombe Days website

🚘 Weidner Motors Show and Shine – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
View classic and custom cars at this popular event hosted by Red Deer Cruise Night.

• LMC north parking lot

• Food trucks on-site

🛍️ Lacombe Days Market – 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Saturday and Sunday)
Shop a wide selection of local vendors and artisans.

• LMC Centennial Hall

🔥 Junior Firefighter Games & BBQ – After the parade until 2 p.m.
Support Lacombe firefighters by enjoying a hot dog or burger.

• Lacombe Fire Department

• BBQ ends when supplies run out

Sunday, July 13

✈️ Fly-in Breakfast – 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Have breakfast while exploring aircraft at the Lacombe Regional Airport.

• Pancakes, sausages and orange juice

• $5 for kids, $15 for adults

🐾 Pet Palooza – 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Bring your leashed pet to this friendly event featuring rescues and vendors.

• Green space between City Hall and Dancer’s Edge

• Pet must be leashed and comfortable around crowds and other animals

🎠 Penny Carnival – 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Enjoy games and challenges in a kid-friendly setting for ages 4 to 10.
