Wolf Creek Public Schools has announced the appointment of Adam Sia as the new principal of Bentley School, effective for the 2025–26 school year.
Sia brings more than 20 years of experience in education and school leadership, with a strong background in both teaching and administration. He is currently the assistant principal at École Lacombe Junior High School, where he is recognized for his student-centred approach and collaborative leadership style.
Before joining Wolf Creek, Sia worked with Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools from 2001 to 2023. He taught Grades 6 to 9 math and science and held several assistant principal positions at St. Dominic Catholic High School, St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Catholic School, St. Patrick’s Community School, and St. Gabriel’s Learning Centre.
“Adam brings with him a deep commitment to student learning and a strong background in leading diverse school communities,” said Sonja Dykslag, associate superintendent of People Services. “His leadership experience, vision for inclusive education, and ability to build relationships will be a great asset to Bentley School.”
Sia holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta and a Master of Education in Leadership from City University in Seattle.
“I am honoured and excited to join the Bentley School community,” said Sia. “I look forward to working alongside the dedicated staff, students and families to build on the great work already happening and to continue fostering a school culture where every learner feels supported, valued and inspired.”
