Steinbach's year of road construction continues, now along Brandt Street south

Wednesday morning, road construction crews were seen placing pylons along Brandt Street south at the Main Street intersection, and continuing down Brandt Street south. 

Back in May of this year, the province announced that PTH 12 would be resurfaced for 3.1km between Park Road and McKenzie Avenue in Steinbach. And that the work would begin this summer and be completed by fall.

It appears motorists may see work begin this morning.

As of Wednesday morning, paving machinery and resurfacing equipment is starting to move in, and work is expected to begin shortly.
