The Estevan Police Service detailed some of their calls as of June 30th, wrapping up the month.

In one call, police received a report of mischief to property. They found that a local city park had been damaged by graffiti. The matter is still being investigated, with the EPS asking for assistance from the public to report suspicious activity or pass along any information relating to the graffiti.

A request for a well-being check came in for police to check on a resident of Estevan, with concern being voiced for the individual’s physical and mental health. Members attended alongside EMS as the individual was transported to the hospital for assessment.

Another pair of requests for well-being checks came in for an Estevan female. The initial request, earlier on in the day, saw the female connected with resources in the community. A second request was received later in the day as the situation was suspected to have deteriorated. Members attended, with the individual transported to the hospital for assessment and medical care.

An excessive noise warning was given out after members attended to a local residence and warned the property representative under the bylaw.

A report came in to police of an individual with a bloody hand walking in the Pleasantdale area of the city. Once members located the individual, they determined that he had cut his hand on his bike chain.

Police were called to the hospital on a report of an unruly patient causing a disturbance. Members remained on the scene until the individual was discharged by emergency room staff.

A residence south of the Shoppers Mall sent out a call in response to a noise report. Police spoke with the individuals who were then warned under the bylaw.

Police received a report of a highly intoxicated female in the Hillcrest area of the city.  Members arrested the female and lodged her in cells to be monitored until sober enough to take care of herself.
