A Lacombe man is facing several charges following a suspected drug deal last week.

On June 27, at approximately 1 p.m., Lacombe Police Service responded to a report from a citizen who believed they had witnessed a drug transaction in progress.

Officers quickly located the individuals involved and took them into custody. A search incident to arrest uncovered a bag containing methamphetamine, fentanyl, and several knives.

Police also seized other items commonly associated with drug trafficking, including digital scales, packaging materials, and a ledger believed to track drug sales.

At the time of his arrest, the suspect was bound by court-imposed conditions, including restrictions on possessing weapons.

Riley Buller, 30, of Lacombe, has been charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl

  • Failure to comply with a probation order

Buller was remanded into custody. His next court appearance is scheduled for July 4.
