A theft from a local business, reports of erratic driving and multiple neighbour disputes were among the calls handled by Kyle RCMP between June 26 and July 3.

On June 26 at 6:41 p.m., Kyle RCMP received a report of a calf in the ditch along Highway 342. The animal was returned safely to its enclosure by the caller, and no police action was required.

Officers were called to a neighbour dispute in Rosetown the next day at 5:41 p.m., but determined no further investigation was necessary. Another neighbour dispute led to a disturbance call on June 30 at 12:58 p.m., which was similarly resolved without police enforcement.

On July 2 at 10:46 a.m., Kyle RCMP received a report of a theft of a combine header from a Rosetown business. The investigation is ongoing.

Later that afternoon, at 1:30 p.m., officers assisted Rosetown Towing with traffic control during the removal of a semi-truck on Highway 7 west of town.

On July 3 at 11:31 a.m., RCMP responded to a report of erratic driving east of Rosetown on Highway 7, but were not in a position to intercept the vehicle.

In total, officers issued 84 traffic-related charges during the reporting period. Three 911 mis-dials were recorded and no false alarms were reported.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding these or other incidents to contact the Rosetown RCMP at 306-882-5700, or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
