Lacombe Pride Society invites community to join their parade float during Lacombe Days.
As Lacombe Days approaches, excitement is building for one of the community’s most vibrant events.
This year, Lacombe Pride Society is inviting residents to walk with them in the Lacombe Days parade on Saturday, July 12 marking the group’s third year participating in the annual celebration.
Everyone is welcome to join the Lacombe Pride float as members hand out candy and flyers promoting the upcoming Lacombe Pride Weekend in August.
It’s an opportunity to celebrate inclusivity, spread joy, and show support for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
Those interested in walking alongside the float are encouraged to fill out the form linked on Lacombe Pride’s social media accounts.
On parade day, participants are asked to meet at the École James S. McCormick School yard at 9:00 a.m.
Organizers are encouraging participants to bring their brightest rainbow attire and most joyful energy.
Lacombe Pride continues to grow each year, bringing people together in the spirit of inclusion, celebration, and community solidarity.
