Matthew Pfeiffer pleaded not guilty to multiple charges, including sexual interference, two counts of sexual exploitation, and two counts of sexual assault. His matters were adjourned to July 15, when Crown and defence are expected to schedule dates for a preliminary hearing. Pfeiffer has elected to be tried by judge and jury at the Court of King’s Bench.
Tyson Zale also entered not guilty pleas to four charges of uttering threats. A trial has been scheduled for Sept. 9. Zale faces an additional charge of failing to comply with a probation order, which has been adjourned to July 22.
Jeffery Proteau had matters adjourned to July 15 as defense indicated a need to reschedule trial dates set for July 29, due to being in inpatient treatment at the time.
Brendan Wilson was released from custody on a 24-hour house arrest with electronic monitoring. His matters were also adjourned to July 22.
Two other matters were adjourned to July 15, and three additional cases were set over to July 29.
