The Estevan Bruins have completed a significant trade with the Battlefords North Stars, acquiring star forward Rylan Williams, defencemen Logan Goodwin and Alex Scheck, plus future considerations. In return, the North Stars received the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) rights to forward Kent Moors.
Williams, a top-performing forward from Kyle, Saskatchewan, comes off a strong season with 42 points in 50 games. Known for his blend of power and finesse, he is expected to be a major offensive force for the Bruins this season.
On defence, Goodwin and Scheck bring valuable depth and versatility. Goodwin, a left-shot defenceman from Penticton, British Columbia, has experience playing in both the SJHL and OJHL. Scheck, a right-shot from Grande Prairie, Alberta, adds flexibility as he can play both defence and forward.
The trade is aimed at strengthening the Bruins’ roster by adding skill, leadership, and playoff experience as they prepare for the upcoming season.
