The U13A Estevan Bulldogs capped off a standout season with a strong showing at Provincials this past weekend in Saskatoon, finishing as one of the top eight teams in Saskatchewan.

The Bulldogs opened the tournament with a tough loss to the White Butte Storm but quickly bounced back. They defeated the Regina Saints in a dominant 16-2 win, followed by a close 9-7 victory over the Saskatoon Laser. They closed out the round robin with a 3-1 win against the Saskatoon Raider.

With a 3-1 record in the round robin, Estevan advanced to Sunday’s quarter-final matchup, where they were eliminated by the Prince Albert Aces. Despite the loss, the Bulldogs were proud of their performance and the accomplishment of placing in the top eight out of more than 65 teams in the U13 division.

The Bulldogs also finished the season tied for third in the Regina league, rounding out what was a memorable and successful year.

Estevan earned a reputation as one of the top U13 teams in the province thanks to their determination, teamwork, and consistent play all season long.
