A woman is facing multiple charges after police seized cash and cocaine during a search of a home in south Estevan.
The Estevan Police Service Drug Intelligence Unit executed a search warrant on July 10 under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Officers seized approximately $10,000 in cash and cocaine with an estimated street value of $2,000.
As a result, 35-year-old Christina Strong of Estevan has been charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.
Strong was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Estevan Provincial Court on Sept. 8.
