The Ponteix Golf Club hosted the annual Allan Therrien Memorial Open golf championship this past weekend, with 77 golfers participating.
Several local golfers secured notable wins during the tournament, including Maple Creek's Gavin Graves, who was named overall champion after marking down a score of 67 on Sunday.
On Saturday, the top 11 qualifiers competed in an elimination horse race, with all three winners coming from Swift Current;
Sheldon Paulhus secured first place, Jeff Parsons claimed second, and Cole Bissonette headed home with third place.
Additionally, Parsons took third place on Sunday, coming up behind Cam Elder from Thomson Lake, who captured second.
