A 30-year-old woman made her first court appearance Wednesday after being arrested during a police operation in the Lakeview Trailer Court the day before.
Meagan Windover appeared in custody in Moose Jaw provincial court.
She faces several charges, including attempted murder, uttering threats, theft of a motor vehicle, theft under $5,000, mischief and failing to attend court.
According to Moose Jaw police, officers were called to an incident involving a firearm on the North Service Road Monday morning.
Police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Windover and a 17-year-old boy were identified as suspects in the shooting. The youth remains at large.
Police say Windover was arrested Tuesday at a residence in the Lakeview Trailer Court following a police operation.
Provincial Crown prosecutor Rob Parker opposed Windover’s release and revoked any existing release orders on other matters.
Windover is scheduled to return to court July 22 for a bail hearing.
