Eligible nominees must:

Nomination forms and more information are available at the Lacombe County website.

The award is part of Lacombe County’s Environmental Community Engagement Program, launched in 2021 to promote education and sustainability. The program was extended by council following its early success.

Past recipients include:

  • 2024 – Nick Harper: Planted 150 native trees, restored a pond, and introduced sustainable grazing.

  • 2023 – Ward Nelson: Planted over 2,000 trees and implemented solar-powered watering for livestock.
