A trio of local emergency services were called to a southwest campground on Wednesday afternoon for a fire that included a trailer that was completely destroyed and a propane tank that combusted.
Around 2:20 p.m., Maple Creek RCMP received a report about a camper fire at Eagle Valley park campground, north of Maple Creek.
Tracey Slugoski, office manager at Eagle Valley, shared that the trailer across from the site directly involved in the fire was somewhat damaged as well.
"The fire department did contain it, and all the fire was put out," she said. "It's a loss to that site, but nobody was hurt."
Saskatchewan Highway Patrol, Maple Creek RCMP, and local fire responded to the incident, located near the junction of the Trans Canada Highway and Range Road 3264.
According to police, the fire is not believed to be suspicious in nature, and no injuries were reported.
