Wolf Creek Public Schools has appointed Brian Grocholski as the new assistant principal of Alix-MAC School, starting in the 2025–26 school year.

Grocholski is an experienced educator with more than 21 years of service in K–12 settings and has taught at Alix-MAC School since 2014. He has led initiatives in literacy, student leadership, and experiential learning.

“Brian brings a student-focused, team-oriented mindset to everything he does,” said Sonja Dykslag, assistant superintendent of People Services. “His long-standing service to the Alix-MAC community, combined with his passion for creativity and strategic leadership, make him an ideal fit for this role.”

Grocholski holds a Master of Education in Teaching, Learning and Leading from the University of Regina and dual bachelor’s degrees in education and arts.

He is also a graduate of the WCPS Aspiring Leaders program and trained in trauma-informed practices.

“I’m incredibly honoured to take on this leadership role in the Alix-MAC School community,” said Grocholski. “This school is filled with inspiring students and dedicated staff, and I look forward to working alongside them to continue building a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.”
