The Estevan Police Service detailed some of their latest calls during the weekend, with a few cases still being looked at.
On Saturday, July 19th, officers received a report of a male and female yelling and arguing outside of a business on 4th Street. Members arrived at the scene and spoke with both parties, who were sent on their way.
Another report was received of a vehicle on a highway heading towards Estevan, which was missing a tire. Members located the vehicle, which was parked on the side of the road and unattended. Attempts to contact the owner were unsuccessful, with police moving the vehicle a short time later.
Later on, a report was received of a suspicious individual trying to gain access to a residence. Members attended and spoke to the individual, finding he had forgotten the code to the door.
The police received several calls regarding gunshots in the area of Eva Street. Members went to the area and observed fireworks being set off on Bannatyne Avenue at the time of the call.
The next report released by the Estevan Police Service looked at July 21st, with a report of a potential overdose at a residence in northern Estevan. Police and EMS found a 37-year-old male unconscious upon arrival, with attending members using Naloxone spray to revive him. He was transported to hospital for further treatment.
