The Milestone RCMP arrested a Weyburn man on Tuesday, July 22nd, after an incident at a business in Corinne.
According to a post on social media, two truckers got into an altercation in the fertilizer shed at the Pioneer Elevator at around 7:30 a.m. During the altercation, one trucker stabbed the other in the chest twice before barricading himself in a semi.
RCMP responded immediately to the report of a serious assault at approximately 8 a.m., joined by EMS and STARS.
A 41-year-old man was transported to the Regina General Hospital by STARS with injuries described as 'serious but non-life-threatening in nature'.
Officers arrested a man in a vehicle outside the business as a result of the investigation.
51-year-old Roel Dayaan of Weyburn is charged with one count of aggravated assault. He is scheduled to appear in Regina Provincial Court on September 17th.
