The Cochrane Generals have set their sights on the 2025-26 season, starting with four exhibition games in early September.

The Gens' 36-game Heritage Junior Hockey League regular season schedule opens with a bang on Sept. 19 on the road against the four-time defending champion Okotoks Bisons. Their home opener follows on Sept. 27 against the Strathmore Wheatland Kings.

Before the regular season begins, Cochrane will host home-and-home exhibition series with the Mountainview Colts and Airdrie Thunder. Fans will get their first look at the team on Sept. 7 at Totem One against the Colts, followed by a matchup with the Thunder on Sept. 11.

The Three Hills Thrashers of the North Division have taken a leave of absence for the season, reducing the league to 12 teams. Cochrane will remain in the south division.

Training camp runs from Aug. 28 to 31.

The Cannex Cochrane Generals have also partnered with FloSports as their official broadcaster for the 2025-26 season. All games will be streamed live and on demand.

Upgrades are also coming to the Gens’ beer gardens this season.

More updates to come as the puck drop draws closer.
