Two Red Deer-based 911 dispatchers have been recognized with national honours from the RCMP.
Both were recognized for their leadership, training, and support within the Operational Communications Centre (OCC).
Jennifer Olson was named National OCC Telecommunications Operator of the Year, while Sophia Cherubin received the National OCC Telecommunications Operator Trainer of the Year award.
In a social media post, the RCMP praised the pair as everyday heroes for their dedication and excellence.
