The Swift Current 57s were blanked for the second consecutive night, this time by the Saskatoon Berriers.
Swift Current's Ethan Murdoch went 1-for-3 with a home run, two walks, and two runs scored, helping power Saskatoon past the 57s 9-0 Thursday night at Cairns Field.
Catcher Ethan Menard also hit a home run for the Berries, his league-leading 12th of the season.
Merek Yeager threw six scoreless innings, allowing only two hits while striking out eight to earn his fifth win on the season.
57's starting pitcher Brodrick Bornstein also tossed six innings, allowing four earned runs with six strikeouts.
Swift Current will host Saskatoon on Friday night, looking to snap a three-game slide.
