Canucks walk-off 18U AAA 57s at provincials

A tough start to day two at provincials on Friday for the Swift Current Kal Tire 18U AAA 57s.

Gerritt Gulutzan produced a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning, lifting the Moose Jaw Canucks to a 3-2 victory.

Jase Johnson threw six-plus innings for the 57s, allowing three earned runs and punching out seven batters.

Two of Swift Current's three hits came off the bat of Ty Switzer.

Swift Current is now 1-1 in their four-game round robin and will face the Saskatoon Cubs Friday night.
