The Cadillac Ranch Rodeo came back for its second year, and was even better than the first.

Over 200 fans attended the rodeo, with an additional 10 rodeo teams competing in a variety of events.

“Ranch Rodeo to us is a reflection of our lifestyle and traditions that we like to be able to share with our communities.” says event organizer Dallas Legros. “It is a great event to get together with friends, new and old.”

Events included: team doctoring, team branding, horse race, team penning, stray gather, and wild cow milking.

There was additionally a wild pony race for kids 12 and under during intermission.

Winners were tallied via a point system based on fastest completion time.

This year’s winners  were the Hillbilly Cattle Co. Team from Asquith, Sask., 2nd place went to Willowheight Ranches, and 3rd place went to Men in Black.

Legros also wishes to thank this year's sponsors.

“These events are not possible without our sponsors and we thank them!” she says.
