UPDATE: Missing 9 year old boy from Cote First Nation located

RCMP have issued an update that the boy has been located safe.

On July 30, 2025, Kamsack RCMP received a report of a missing 9-year-old boy.

Damaris, who also goes by the nickname ‘Maris’, was last seen on July 30 at approximately 12:10 a.m. on the Cote First Nation.

Since he was reported missing, Kamsack RCMP have been checking places Damaris is known to visit and following up on information received. They are now asking members of the public to report information on Damaris’s whereabouts.

Damaris is described as:

• Height: 4 ft 9 in
• Weight: 100 lbs
• Eye colour: brown
• Hair colour and style: medium-length, black
• Last seen wearing blue Crocs, black Jordan shirt
