The Southeast Sun Devils are inviting softball players from U11 to U17 age groups to participate in their upcoming Open Diamond Days. These free events will provide athletes the opportunity to sharpen their skills, connect with coaches, and enjoy a day of fun on the softball diamond.

Morgan Walter, Player Development Coordinator for the Sun Devils, shared details about the program. “We’re hosting an Open Diamond Day this Sunday in Estevan at Cossette Field, Woodlawn Regional Park, and another one the following week in Alameda,” Walter said. “It’s open to any athlete in the U11 to U17 divisions who wants to come out, play softball, and get to know more about our program.”

The events will feature high-intensity drills and plenty of interaction with coaches, designed to help players improve their game. “It’s a fun day on the diamond where players can connect, have fun, and grow their softball skills,” Walter added.

Participants are asked to bring their own personal equipment, including gloves, bats, and helmets. The Sun Devils will provide all other necessary gear for the drills.

While registration is free, organizers encourage players to sign up via a registration link available on the Southeast Sun Devils’ Facebook page.

Whether you’re a seasoned player or looking to improve your skills, the Southeast Sun Devils’ open diamond days are an excellent opportunity to get on the field and enjoy softball even after the season is over.
