Pioneer Days Parade
When: Parade begins at 10:00 am, Friday August 1st
Where: Main Street Steinbach
The Pioneer Days Parade is taking place this Friday, celebrating some of the unique heritage of Steinbach.
The forecast calls for sun, so bring along a hat, sunscreen, and some water to keep cool. While you enjoy the sun make sure to stay safe when grabbing some sweet treats from the street.
While approximately 10 thousand community members are excited to watch, local business owners are also excited to participate.
Stewart Holditch, co-owner of Dairy Queen Steinbach, says “I'm excited to try and high 5 and give away as much treats and eats as possible.”
Holditch continues by saying that handing out free Dilly Bars at Summer in the City was a highlight of his career, and he is excited to top that with tokens at the parade.
