Bull riders hold on to the action at Hanover Ag’s Spring Twist off
Hanover Ag held its annual Spring Twist off event tonight in Grunthal, and the stands were full.
Hanover Ag Society President Curtis Dawydiuk says that this event couldn’t have happened without its volunteers.
“We have a great team here. There's always, you know, a need for more help and the work gets easier the more people that are here.”
Kicking off the weekend in cowboy boots; Rodeos and fairs are coming up

Piney’s ATV Mud Run in Photos
Piney Community Center organized the Piney ATV Mud Run this Saturday.
The Mud Run was full of volunteers who donated their time to bring this event to the community.
Racers and family members supported the Piney Community Center by participating in the run and enjoying BBQ, camping, cornhole tournaments, and more.
ROC Eastman’s Used Book Fair kicks off the weekend
People from Steinbach and surrounding communities waited at the doors for the opening of ROC Eastman’s Used Book Fair.
Board Chair Shauna Doerksen says that the event has become embedded into the community.
“Every opening day there are folks waiting outside to get in. Even you know summertime and wintertime and so just seeing folks outside waiting really demonstrates how much this has become a part of the community.”

Woodridge held its 4th annual Car Show on the Ridge where people gathered to compete, look at cars, and raise funds for the Woodridge Fire Department.
This fun filled day had people of all ages gather from surrounding communities at the Woodridge Community Center for a day of community and cars.
Deputy Fire Chief Joel Grenier says that the event is supporting the fire department more than they originally expected.

Woodridge Community Club is hosting its 4th annual car show on the ridge. Celebrate the community on Saturday from 10 am - 4 pm at M.A Querel Community Park and Woodridge Community Club.
