Estevan Police responded to a series of calls over July 29 and 30, including public intoxication, domestic disturbances, a property dispute, and a theft under investigation.
On July 29, officers responded to a report of an intoxicated female in central Estevan. She was arrested for being intoxicated in public and lodged in cells until sober.
Later that day, officers attended a property dispute at a local residence. It was determined to be a civil matter, and one of the parties left for the night.
On July 30, an Estevan man was arrested for failing to comply with the conditions of his Conditional Sentence Order. He appeared in court that morning and was remanded into custody until Aug. 6.
Police were also called to a residence in the south end of the city for a report of a possible domestic disturbance. A 41-year-old Estevan woman was arrested for breach of peace and uttering threats. She was taken to police cells and is expected to be released in the morning with a court date set for September.
Officers are investigating a reported theft of a wallet that was accidentally left in the washroom of a convenience store. Video surveillance is being reviewed and the matter remains under investigation.
Police received a report of harassing communication. Officers spoke with all involved and reminded them about appropriate online conduct when using social media platforms.
Later that day, officers responded to a report of an unconscious woman lying in the grass. The 53-year-old was arrested and charged with public intoxication. She was transported to police cells and assessed by EMS.
Police also responded to a motor vehicle collision in central Estevan. One passenger sustained minor injuries and one vehicle was towed from the scene.
Officers were called to a residence in north-central Estevan for a domestic disturbance. The situation was mediated on scene without further issue.
Another domestic disturbance was reported later in central Estevan. Officers attended and resolved the matter without further concerns.
