9th Ave. NW to close for 11 days

A large stretch of 9th Ave. NW will be closed for just shy of two weeks as part of the Paved Roadways and Sidewalks Project.

The closure will be in effect from Monday, August 11, until August 22, 9th Ave NW from Thatcher Drive to Highway 1 to allow city contractors to conduct roadwork.

Several intersections will be impacted by the closure:

• Thatcher Drive – open to east, west, and south,
• West Park Boulevard – closed in all directions at 9th Avenue NW,
• Maplewood Drive – closed in all directions at 9th Avenue NW,
• Paul/Iris Drive – open to east-west for Local Traffic Only,
• Highway 1 – open to east, west, and north traffic.

Transit Route 2 - Sunningdale's route will be modified, no changes to stop placement or scheduling have been announced,
