The City of Swift Current says the power outages affecting residents and businesses have been solved.
Swift Current shared the update at 10:06 p.m. on Saturday, roughly 2:30 hours after power outages began.
The outage was caused by lightning damaging a power line, according to the city.

Power is out for parts of Swift Current after a thunderstorm rolled through the city on Saturday evening.
The City of Swift Current announced on social media that power was out for customers in the downtown northwest area, and Light & Power crews are working to restore the outage. Some residents are also reporting outages in the city's northeast.
