The City of Red Deer’s Automated Traffic Enforcement program, featuring photo laser and intersection red light cameras has announced their locations for the month.

Automated enforcement will take place in areas with a documented history of collisions, property damage, injuries or fatalities, as well as locations with high pedestrian volumes and/or frequent speeding. 

Mobile enforcement units will be active in the following neighbourhoods from August 1 to 31, 2025:

  • Oriole Park
  • Johnstone
  • Kentwood
  • West Park
  • Grandview
  • Mountview
  • Sunnybrook
  • South Hill
  • Deer Park
  • Rosedale
  • Eastview
  • Clearview
  • Timberlands

Intersection Safety Device (Red Light) Cameras will be operating at:

  • 30 Avenue & 32 Street
  • 32 Street & 30 Avenue
  • 30 Avenue & Ross Street
  • Ross Street & 30 Avenue
  • Taylor Drive & 32 Street

A reminder to residents that The RCMP reserves the right to change site locations without notice.
