The Bentley & District Agricultural Society Fair is back with a weekend full of activities, entertainment, and hometown celebration for all ages.

It started yesterday (August 6) and will run until Sunday, (August 10) this year’s theme is a heartfelt “Salute to the Educators, Teachers and Support Staff” recognizing the individuals who shape and support local students and schools.

While there will be no rodeo this year due to facility upgrades, but the fair still promises plenty of fun, food, and family-friendly programming.

Fair Highlights by Day

THURSDAY, AUGUST 7

  • 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. — Bentley Museum Open
  • 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. — Bench Show Entries Accepted at Blindman Valley Ag Centre

FRIDAY, AUGUST 8

  • 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. — Pancake Breakfast hosted by Sunset Hills Riding Club (Legion Park tent) *Admission charge*​​​​​​​
  • 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. — Museum Open
  • 10:00 a.m. — Parade entries line up at Blindman Valley Ag Centre parking lot
  • 11:30 a.m. — Parade entry judging
  • 1:00 p.m. — Parade begins (Presented by Sunset Hills Riding Club)
  • 2:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m. — Pawsome Connection Dog Demonstration (Ball diamond by Blindman Valley Ag Centre)
  • 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. — Bench Show Open (Blindman Valley Ag Centre)
  • 6:30 p.m. — Bench Show Awards
  • 10:15 p.m. — Fireworks on Railway Ave, followed by a Drive-In Movie presented by Kroozin’ West

SATURDAY, AUGUST 9

  • 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. — Pancake Breakfast (Legion Park tent) *Admission charge*​​​​​​​
  • 9:00 a.m. — Kroozin’ West Show & Shine Registration (Railroad Ave)
  • 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. — Museum Open
  • 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. — Petting Zoo at Bentley Library
  • 12:00 noon – 5:00 p.m. — Bentley School Reunion (Old Community Hall)
  • 12:00 noon – 3:00 p.m. — Cake Served at the Museum
  • 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. — Bart Wood Carving Demonstration (Museum grounds)
  • 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. — Bentley Farmers’ Market (Curling Rink)
  • 3:00 p.m. — Kroozin’ West Presentations (Railroad Ave)

SUNDAY, AUGUST 10

  • 10:00 a.m. — Interdenominational Church Service at Community Church - Chili lunch to follow​​​​​​​
  • 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. — Museum Open

Organizers say the fair remains one of the most anticipated events of the summer in Bentley, bringing together families, visitors, and volunteers to celebrate rural roots and community spirit.

Whether you're enjoying a slice of cake at the museum, checking out the Show & Shine, or simply catching up with old friends, the Bentley Fair offers something for everyone.
