Before the Humboldt Broncos and the rest of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) drop the puck on the 2025-26 regular season, they will work off the summer rust in the preseason.
On Monday, the SJHL announced the 2025 Preseason schedule
The Broncos will play in seven exhibition games in total, with four on the road and three at the Elgar Petersen Arena.
They will open up in Melville on Sunday, August 31 in Melville against the Millionaires.
Humboldt will head to Kindersley on Tuesday, September 2.
That’s followed by the Broncos first stop in Warman against the Wolverines on Friday, September 5.
On Saturday, September 6, the Wolverines will make their visit to Humboldt.
Kindersley will travel to Humboldt on Monday, September 8.
The Broncos will wrap up the home portion of the preseason schedule on Friday, September 12 when they host the Melfort Mustangs.
Finishing off the preseason, Humboldt travels to Melfort the next night on Saturday, September 13.

The regular season will begin on Friday, September 19, including the Broncos playing the first SJHL game of the Wolverine franchise in Warman.
