RCMP in Wilkie say they are investigating several property-related offences reported between Aug. 5 and Aug. 11, including a stolen trailer and break-ins at two farm shops.
Police say an attempted traffic stop led to a suspect fleeing from officers. In a separate incident, a 40-year-old Wilkie man was charged with possession of property obtained by crime and operating while prohibited after members located stolen property in a vehicle.
Other calls included trespassing, which resulted in tickets being issued, an unfounded graffiti complaint at Wilkie Memorial Park, a break-in at an abandoned building, and a fraud complaint.
RCMP also acted as mediators in a dispute between two adults, issued a 72-hour roadside suspension during a traffic stop, and responded to three traffic complaints.
