Lacombe County will begin replacement work on Bridge File 6989, located at NW 33-41-27 W4M (a tributary to Whelp Brook), on Thursday.
Sections of Township Road 415B, Range Road 273A and Township Road 415 will be closed to through traffic but will remain open to local traffic.
The project is expected to be completed by Sept. 22, weather permitting.
Detour routes will be marked, and signage will be in place to guide drivers.
Lacombe County is reminding motorists to obey posted signage and use caution in the area.
