Update: Power goes dark near Climax

SaskPower says repairs have been made and power has been restored to affected customers from this outage.

The Crown corporation added that if power hasn't been restored to any customers in this area, to call them at 310-2220.

A power outage is affecting the areas around Climax and Frontier. 

SaskPower has dispatched crews that are looking to determine the cause of the issue. 

The majority of the effect is being felt west of Climax in rural areas, including Frontier and its vicinity. 

There is currently no estimated time frame for a repair.
