Rosetown RCMP dealt with several incidents in the community last week, including an assault, a fraud complaint, and a dog bite.

On Aug. 16, police were called to an assault in Rosetown, and charges have been laid, with court proceedings pending. Officers also investigated a breach of peace complaint on Aug. 15 and a disturbance at a local business, though no further action was required in either case.

Later in the week, Rosetown RCMP began investigating a fraud complaint involving an online bank account and responded to a report of a person bitten by a dog on Aug. 21. Officers also attended to traffic concerns, including multiple driving complaints near Highway 15 construction zones, and issued 42 traffic-related charges over the reporting period.

RCMP reminded residents to report suspicious activity and to provide tips on any crimes by contacting the Rosetown detachment at 306-882-5700 or through Crime Stoppers.
