Chinook’s Edge School Division has appointed Jason Drent as associate superintendent of corporate services.
Drent previously served as associate superintendent of learning services for the division. He said he has enjoyed ensuring teachers receive high-quality support in curriculum instruction and assessment, and looks forward to continuing to keep the organizational focus on teaching and learning in his new role.
Outside of work, Drent enjoys coaching basketball and spending time with his family. He also recommends the book Digital Minimalism by Cal Newport, which he says provided him with strategies to step away from the noisy world of technology.
