Losing a golf ball is common, but losing a disc can feel more personal which is why the Town of Penhold has introduced disc return boxes to help players reunite with their gear
As the disc golf course continues to take shape, the Town has added two Disc Return boxes.
The boxes give community members a place to drop off discs they find while out on the course, ensuring lost discs make their way back to their owners.
One return box is located at the northwest corner of the Critters Corner parking lot, while the other can be found at the northeast corner of the Multi-Use All Wheel Park lot.
Currently, baskets are set up around the community playground and open green space with walking trails.
The course begins and ends at the parking lot, with temporary tees marked by stakes, orange numbered flags, or spray paint.
Once winter arrives, baskets will be removed to make way for the tobogganing hill.
