Run, Forrest! Run! Jenny told Forrest to run and so should you, straight to the Cochrane Humane Society, to meet our latest Adorable Adoptable.

Jenny may be shy at first, but with a bit of love and a lot of treats she will quickly become your best friend.

"She's a lovely girl," says Robyn Roy, communications coordinator with the Humane Society. "We worked on her confidence building and she is ready to go."

Jenny is looking for a patient family that will continue helping her grow. She would be happiest in a home with children over the age of 15, as sudden noises from little ones still make her nervous.

This good girl is looking for her forever home. Cochrane Humane Society.

Jenny enjoys the company of other dogs, but she prefers a proper introduction before moving in together.

"She is good with other dogs, but she does need to meet them ahead of time before just coming into a family," says Robyn.

If you are thinking of bringing Jenny home, the Humane Society recommends the whole family gets involved.

"Often we'll have people visit the dog first, talk with our adoption counsellors, see if the dog is a good fit for their family, and then give it a few days before they actually proceed," says Robyn. "Bring in any pets, any family members to meet the dog, make sure it's a good fit with the whole crew."

Jenny is available for the Special Needs adoption fee of $175.

She is available by appointment only. Call the adoption team at 403-932-2072 ext. 113 or email your filled-out adoption form to adoption@cochranehumane.ca.
