It was a feisty preseason battle on Monday night at the Elgar Petersen Arena with the Humboldt Broncos falling 3-1 to the Kindersley Klippers.
Gabriel Kaminski scored the lone goal for the Broncos.
Brock Evans, Austin Osiowy, and Van Eger provided the goals for the Klippers.
Kindersley was 1/8 on the power play while the Broncos were 0/3.
Humboldt had 56 penalty minutes in the contest.
Charlie Tritt made 30 saves for the Broncos.
The first regular season matchup between the Broncos and Klippers is on Monday, September 29 in Kindersley.
This weekend, the Broncos will finish off the preseason with a home-and-home set with the Melfort Mustangs. On Friday, the two teams meet in Humboldt before the Saturday night rematch in Melfort.
