A gold medal to start the season for the Swift Current Comp Colts senior volleyball team.
They won the 16 team St. Mary Invitational Tournament in Prince Albert.
During pool play, the Colts went 3-0 with wins over Nipawin, Waldheim, and N.B. John Paul II.
The Colts then beat Meflfort in three games in the first round of the playoffs and topped Meadow Lake in the quarterfinals.
It took three games to beat Prince Albert Carleton in the semifinals on Sunday.
Swift Current then beat Lloydminster Comp 25-12 and 25-15 to win the gold.
They travel to Saskatoon for another tournament this weekend.
