Things were a little crammed at Tail Light Tuesday.
The Living Sky Casino was refurbishing most of their western parking lot, forcing the weekly car show to share their space with regular casino goers.
It didn't stop the Rogue Cruisers from turning up in force for their Tuesday night hangout, with close to 80 vehicles coming and going throughout the evening.
Dustin Vipond, co-founding member of the Rogue Cruisers, was blown away that even in such cramped conditions, there was still room for new additions to their retinue.
"Just a bunch of new stuff again this week," said Vipond. "I never get tired of saying that, cause it's always so neat to see."
This week also saw the return of the SPCA Swift Current as the non-profit partner for the month of September. Kash Knight, the fundraising manager for the SPCA Swift Current, was manning the booth with other volunteers as they sold quilts for cats and dogs, and took donations for Team Cats and Team Dogs.
"Team Dog is winning per usual," laughed Knight. "This week feels like the first real Tail Light Tuesday I've been to. It's exciting and we've had lots of people come stop to chat."
Knight and her team are still selling 50/50 tickets for the draw being made on September 30th. That raffle is capped at $20,000, with tickets also available online.
"And next week at The Big One, we're going to be auctioning off a Lego car," said Knight.

People can also ask the SPCA about the upcoming information night on September 11th at the Great Plains College.
As Knight alluded to, The Big One will be on September 16th. Last year, they had close to 300 cars come out to the Living Sky Casino, even with a tornado warning hitting the area.
"It was amazing to see that many people come out," said Vipond. "This week is like the calm before the storm. Lots of guys are getting their stuff ready for next week."
The Rogue Cruisers have been collecting door prizes and other giveaways for the car show. With the anticipated turnout, they have been gearing up for plenty of fun for everyone who comes out.
"The support in this community is honestly mind-blowing," said Vipond. "Everywhere you go, they're just happy to help out. We've got people calling us to donate to us without us even knocking on their door. It really is incredible."
As always, the show will be completely free to enter and attend. Vipond does appreciate any donations they do get, but doesn't expect them.
The Big One will occupy the entire west parking lot at the Living Sky Casino. In addition, they have confirmed with the City of Swift Current that they can also park on the Battleford Trail if they need the space.
Guest parking will be in the east Living Sky Casino Parking lot, with overflow available at the Super Store next door, and at The Brick.
"We got our fingers and toes and eyes crossed for some good weather on Tuesday," said Vipond. "I'll have a little talk with the weatherman and see what we can do."
The Living Sky Casino will also host a charity barbecue, with all the proceeds going to the SPCA Swift Current.
