Macklin RCMP investigate sudden death, fraud, and break-in

 Macklin RCMP say the sudden death of a child reported last week is not considered suspicious.

Between Sept. 2 and 8, officers also opened investigations into a fraud complaint, a break and enter at the Macklin Golf Clubhouse sheds, and a suspicious person near a business.

Police responded to a disturbing the peace complaint that was later deemed unfounded, and assisted Emergency Medical Services with a patient.

Officers also received reports of trespassing and property damage at Kinette Park, though there was insufficient evidence to move forward in those cases.

One traffic complaint was also reported during the week.

RCMP urge anyone with information about crimes in the Macklin area to contact the local detachment or Crime Stoppers.
