Unplanned outage looms over local town

An unplanned power outage popped up in southwest Saskatchewan on Thursday afternoon. 

The outage has been affecting customers in Burstall and surrounding rural areas since around noon. 

SaskPower notes that crews are working to repair the damage caused by lightning in the area.

Power is expected to be restored around 4:00 p.m.
