Kyle RCMP dealt with a series of public safety calls last week, including suspicious person reports, abandoned vehicles, and well-being checks.
On September 7, the RCMP received a report of a suspicious person in the RM of St. Andrews, which remains under investigation. Officers also assisted with a well-being check at Sask Landing Provincial Park on September 8.
Other calls included a complaint about an abandoned vehicle at a local business and numerous driving complaints on Highway 7 regarding unsafe passing behaviour.
RCMP emphasized that, in all instances, members worked to resolve situations while ensuring public safety. “No further action was required” in multiple cases, according to the release.
Police encourage anyone with information about these or other incidents to contact the Kyle RCMP detachment or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
