PICTURES: Northern Lights reign over southwest Saskatchewan

Last night, a massive band of the Aurora Borealis stretched as far as Swift Current and other southwest Saskatchewan locals. 

People from all over Saskatchewan and the rest of Canada were treated to an amazing light show of dancing interstellar winds bursting over the atmosphere. This brilliant display was visible to the naked eye from 8 p.m. until deep into the night, long after most retreated to sleep.
